Advice on Terror effect

You may have already heard that the Home Secretary has announced that the national threat level has now been increased to “Critical” following the terror attack in Manchester. This assessment means not only that an attack remains highly likely, but that a further attack may be imminent.

Arun are being regularly briefed by Sussex Police and they have confirmed that they have increased their armed policing capabilities across Surrey and Sussex and are undertaking high visibility patrols and extra community engagement.  At this stage, they have not seen a rise in community tension.
